Reconstructing Old Implant Dentistry with New Modern Efficient Materials and Methods

BY DR. JONATHAN ABENAIM

The patient presented with a failing restoration of the upper jaw. This included failing root canals, failing crown and bridge and most importantly, failing blade implants.

Restoring a case like this, all in one shot with extraction of teeth, removal of blade implants, placing of new implants and immediate loading requires innovative tools and innovative grafting. In this case we used Augma to augment the tissue and to protect and augment the buccal plate. Immediate load was performed.

The patient has been functioning for over three years.
