Immediate Implant Placement in the Anterior area using Augma Bond Apatite®

Patient: Male, 70 year old, non smoker

Treatment plan: Extraction of teeth #6 (13), #7 (12), #8 (11); immediate implant placement and grafting with Bond Apatite®. Extraction and immediate implant placement allow us to maintain the bone volume, and the extractions must be atraumatic. A flapless technique was chosen with cortical plate preservation. As the tooth axis and the root’s anatomy are totally different than the implant structure, it is necessary to perform bone preservation around the implant.

Using Biphasic Calcium Sulfate, allows us to get smooth material which can be pushed deeply in the socket. The material hardens quickly and therefore doesn’t need any membrane coverage. Augma Shield™ wound dressing is used to cover the graft.
