Failing URQ Bridge Extraction & Augma
This patient is in their early 80’s, and is a cardiac patient on Coumadin with multiple stents. Due to the patient’s health issues, their medication was continued. A local anaesthetic without vasoconstriction is used, but remote infiltrations with articaine to help with hemostasis. Augma Bond Apatite® was very helpful for hemostasis as well.
The treatment happened in several stages. The first stage was extraction and socket grafting. Four months later implants were placed and ridge grafting was performed. Preparation of osteotomies with Versah helped to minimize bleeding as well. Restorative four months after implants placement.
Case has been loaded for two years.
